I genuinely try to keep my complaints on the internet to a minimum and spread love and positivity and whatnot, but I was so stoked for these books and the first one so far has just been kind of “Meh”. I love every moment involving the incorporation of dinosaurs into combat and society, but I only like a couple of the characters and I don’t find any aspect of the palace intrigue story line to be interesting or enjoyable at all. I am committed to finishing it, but right now I’m taking a break and not missing it all that much.
Suuuch a pretty cover though.
Have not read any of these yet, but the artwork is killer!
@ScavengerMonk , Without trying to give to much away, the characters develop more in the second book imo and there is a ton more action.
I was expecting to see a princess on the cover. I guess that could be a princess inside that armor…
